Gas production from the Tyra facility was declared back to full capacity on 28 February by the field's operator TotalEnergies. However, this was only a pleasure, as Denmark's largest gas field is currently operating at reduced capacity due to a fault in a switch in the high-voltage electrical system. This is stated by TotalEnergies
The fault has affected parts of the power supply since 4 March. The reduced power supply affects production from the Tyra Field and surrounding fields. Gas production from the Harald Field will continue in the interim period. Gas production from the southern fields, Dan, Halfdan and Gorm, is running as normal via Tyra.
"Work is underway at full speed to rectify the fault. Due to delivery times in relation to the defective switch parts, it is currently expected that the Tyra plant will not be back in full operation until late March/early April," TotalEnergies writes in the announcement.
