Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) har gennem sin CI Advanced Bioenergy Fund I opkøbt aktiemajoriteten i Sindal Biogas, som ligger i Hjørring. Handlen er indgået med de nuværende ejere KK Invest, som er et lokalt investeringsselskab med rødder i landbruget, og DBC Invest (et søsterselskab til Danish Bio Commodities). Begge sælgere forbliver medejere af Sindal Biogas.
