Ørsteds projekt til CO2-fangst og -lagring, Ørsted Kalundborg Hub, er blevet tildelt en 20-årig kontrakt af Energistyrelsen.  Det indebærer, at Ørsted skal etablere CO2-fangst på det træflisfyrede Asnæsværket i Kalundborg og på Avedøreværkets halmfyrede kedelanlæg i Storkøbenhavn.
