Ørsted will build a large PtX facility in Sweden

Ørsted has made a final investment decision on FlagshipONE, Europe's largest green e-methanol project. At the same time, Ørsted has bought Liquid Wind out of the project, so that it is now the sole owner.

Hvis alt går efter planen vil Europas største grønne e-methanol-anlæg være klar til produktion i Örnsköldsvik i Nordsverige i 2025. Således har Ørsted bestyrelse truffet beslutning om at investere i FlagshipONE-projektet. FlagshipONE får en elektrolysekapacitet på omkring 70 MW, og kan producere ca. 50.000 tons e-methanol om året.
