Holstebro Kommune er blevet udpeget som hjemsted for Danmarks første energipark. Minister for byer og landdistrikter Morten Dahlin har den 13. marts officielt udpeget området ved Idomlund til energipark gennem en bekendtgørelse. Det skriver By-, Land og Kirkeministeriet.
