Danmark kan være meget tæt på at indfri klimamålet for 2030 på 70 procents reduktion i udledningen af drivhusgasser. Klimaministeriets nye fremskrivning vurderer, at udledningerne i 2030 vil være reduceret med 68 procent i forhold til basisåret 1990. Sidste år var vurderingen, at man med de daværende politiske tiltag ville nå 63,1 procents reduktion i 2030.
