Regeringen ønsker at afsætte 260 mio. kr. årligt fra i år, og fra 2029 skal beløbet stige til 330 millioner kroner årligt til at styrke erhvervsuddannelserne. Det er en del af udspillet "Forberedt på fremtiden VII", som er regeringens tredje udspil på området med erhvervsuddannelser.
