25 companies are paving the way for the construction of a solar park on Djursland

An association of as many as 25 Danish companies signs a joint 5-year agreement for the purchase of electricity from a new solar park in Mesballe on Djursland, thus ensuring the construction of the park.

Elkøbsaftaler (PPA'er) er hovedsageligt noget som store virksomheder indgår. Eksempelvis har bl.a. Novo Nordisk, Carlsberg og Arla længe købt vedvarende energi direkte fra producenten via PPA’er. Små virksomheder har dog været afskåret fra PPA'er og i stedet været henvist til ’grønne’ elaftaler baseret på den omstridte bladordning for grøn strøm.
