Lille dansk skibsmæglervirksomhed lander Thor-kontrakt med RWE
In the summer of 2025, the construction of Denmark's largest offshore wind farm Thor will be started. In that process, the West Jutland company North Sea Agency gets a role. The company has landed a three-year contract with the German energy group RWE, which is behind the offshore wind farm. This is stated by the shipbroker in a press release.
With the conclusion of the contract, North Sea Agency will solve service tasks in several ports in West Jutland. Specifically, the North Sea Agency must help with a wide range of service tasks such as port agency, port service, storage facilities, contact with suppliers, etc. Geographically, the contract covers from Thyborøn down to Hvide Sande.
- I am proud that we have succeeded in getting a three-year contract with such a large group as RWE. The contract is by far the biggest deal that the North Sea Agency has made, and I see it as a seal of approval for the North Sea Agency, which has only been in existence for four years. I am happy that we have managed to land the contract ahead of competitors who are significantly larger than us, says director Rasmus Buchardt Sørensen from the North Sea Agency.
RWE has focused on finding a business partner with local knowledge.
- For RWE, it has been important to choose a locally based agent who is well acquainted with the local companies and can respond quickly to our requested services. With the North Sea Agency, we are convinced that we have made the right choice, and we look forward to a good collaboration, says Construction Manager Hildur Friis from RWE.
